I am writing to endorse former NMB Commissioner, Paule Villard, for Mayor of North Miami Beach in the upcoming election. I have personally known her to be dedicated and hard working on behalf of the residents of North Miami Beach.
As Commissioner she was particularly sensitive to the many hundreds of senior residents in our community. She was the advisor for the Senior Luncheon and I found it a wonderful gesture that she offered to provide kosher meals at this event for senior residents of the North Miami Beach Jewish community.
Over the last several years, I got to know Commissioner Villard personally and I have always founds her to be responsive, working tirelessly for all segments of the North Miami Beach community. Commissioner Villard was endorsed by Mayor Daniella Cava Levine during the last election.
In closing I would like to say that Commissioner Villard spoke out and protected my first amendment rights of free speech when former Mayor Defillipo threatened to cut off my microphone during my allotted three minutes for public comment granted to every resident at the monthly NMB Commission meetings.
I respectfully endorse former Commissioner Villard for Mayor.
